Hey there Blazing Paddles!   I have created a Meet Up group for Wichita Falls.  Wichita Falls Paddlesports: Kayak, Canoe, SUP

Meet up is scheduled for this Saturday to go to Mt Scott area for paddling. The weather should be beautiful and the Lake FULL - since they had a 6" rain a couple of weeks ago.  I am checking on Elmer Thomas because we can do the whole perimeter and get in about 5 miles. PLEASE JOIN the MeetUp group. Just having you as members will encourage others to join and build our club base. And if you want to go to OK for paddling, please please RSVP so I can determine if this paddle is a GO.      I hope you all will join. It is free! 

AND... Kayak Academy of WF is now up and running. I have enough kayaks and paddles and PFDs to outfit a 5 student class. I encourage all of you to take a class. I would not only like to help you increase your power in those paddling strokes, but would REALLY like to get us all squared away on Assisted Rescue and Self-Rescue.  So very important with the kayaks you are using. The best thing I ever did was take a basics course! what an eye-opener!  what a help it was for me to be more efficient with my forward strokes!
